It has been a long awaited pairing and one that is with the utmost of intention and care. O3 Grace is from a cherished and hard to come by line of McNabs. They are "old school" in their characteristics, high intensity, energetic, extremely loyal, driven, independent: all things useful to the rancher. Grace is less personable toward strangers, although indifferent when not threatened, she will guard and show aggression if cornered or a stranger approaches when the home place is unattended.
In contrast, Cinch will meet anyone at the gate with a smile on his face and warm greeting. He soaks up any affection available and devotes himself to being on the receiving end of love when visitors will indulge him. He is also an epic and once in a lifetime working dog. Truly the best of the best.
Because of these traits, screening for placement of this litter will be especially stringent and working homes given priority. The McNab naturally requires a home that is highly attentive and respectful of their intellectual and exercise outlet needs if not using them for stock work full time. These pups will be incredibly special and should work like a dream.
I anticipate erect ears and most likely an all black litter, although red is possible. Pups will be agile, bond hard, and truly be unique in nature.

We will be pairing Sia with a proven working McNab sire.
Our goal is to retain the classic working instinct in a manageable McNab size. Since Sia is a solid 50Lbs, special consideration will be given to a stud who is sized around 40Lbs. |
